Duluth has become indie-code for the windswept hypnotisms of Low and Haley Bonar, and a similar languid aesthetic grips the new Ashtray Hearts record, Perfect Halves. Recorded in Sacred Heart Studios--housed in a 19th-century cathedral overlooking Lake Superior--the album finds the band roaming all over a landscape of icy broken hearts that could be on the cusp of healing, imploding, or both. Tonight they celebrate the birth of Perfect Halves with a little help from their friend Walker Kong and all other imperfect halves looking to make a night of it. 21+. $5. 9:00 p.m.
